I agree, mostly because Aurora’s wig is horrendous!

Because I’ll never manage to catch the actual account while their ask box is open, I made one myself :)
‘Disney World > Disneyland’
I hate the WDW vs DLR thing, but I partially agree the WDW is better since it’s my park, but at the same time DLR gets some things I’m so jealous of (mostly more TLC than WDW gets)
most are “well he was too old to play a 16 year old”
Do you not know that majority of tv/movies the people who are supposed to be in their teens aren’t? So it’s not like that makes any difference, it’s all about looks.
And he still looks ridiculously young (it’s a bit unfair really)

Um…maybe I’m missing something, but how the everloving fuck do we send in a confession? No ask box and no submit. I’m so lost. Is there just a back log or…am I completely losing it?

Not panic attacks, but.
This ride almost emotionally traumatized me as a kid. I had nightmares for weeks…
It was scary. I’m glad they got rid of it. It was too intense for the little ones.
I mean, I knew it wasn’t real, but I thought people were actually screaming, which freaked me out. I thought the people talking overhead were real, too.
And I was horrified of the dark.
It’s easy for adults and teens to say it wasn’t scary. But as a kid? I’ll never forget what that ride was like.
I tried to stare at the exist sign the entire time.
I’m too tired to elaborate on all of this..
It was just bad. End of story.
While *now* I say I wish they hadn’t gotten rid of it (it’s mostly because the stitch version is so bad) when I was younger I always went on it with a large group of other kids and we were too busy messing around with the shoulder bar and getting that to stay up to really pay attention so luckily it never scared me as much. But I definitely can understand why it freaked so many people out and in the end was taken out and changed.
Sadly, as I was looking for a picture to use for this, I found a page explaining the lesson of the attraction and it’s a shame they couldn’t have found a less scaring-the-shit-out-of-nearly-everyone way to have told the story because it’s one that needs to be told.
Let’s hope that shortly they’ll get rid of the stitch ride as well (especially since there’s rarely a line for it) so that all traces are taken out. Well, except Skippy. They can keep Skippy.

Ultimate dream is in front of the Castle, but that’s not going to happen unless I win the lottery or something. So I’ll have to come up with something else.
everyone including me seems to think this…disney makes SO much money. You’d think they’d be able to invest in a dress that looked the same and looked ncie.
Here’s the thing, they don’t make as much as everyone thinks. At least not lately. They’ve been hit by the recession just as everyone else has, it just took as little longer. A couple years ago they did massive layoffs and were in a hiring freeze for quite a while. They still haven’t worked back up to where they were before. Also they’ve been giving SO many discounts on hotels/packages for the last year or so and that may bring people into the parks, but people haven’t been spending the money on merch. It may seem like they make a lot of money, but they also have a lot of employees and other things they have to pay.
Plus all the dresses are made in house and that’s not cheap regardless of what it looks like in the end.
Sorry, ended up ranting a bit there. xD I understand the not liking it, I complain about the wigs all the time, it’s just the saying Disney makes a lot of money that I don’t.
Anyways, carry on :)
