I agree, mostly because Aurora’s wig is horrendous!

everyone including me seems to think this…disney makes SO much money. You’d think they’d be able to invest in a dress that looked the same and looked ncie.
Here’s the thing, they don’t make as much as everyone thinks. At least not lately. They’ve been hit by the recession just as everyone else has, it just took as little longer. A couple years ago they did massive layoffs and were in a hiring freeze for quite a while. They still haven’t worked back up to where they were before. Also they’ve been giving SO many discounts on hotels/packages for the last year or so and that may bring people into the parks, but people haven’t been spending the money on merch. It may seem like they make a lot of money, but they also have a lot of employees and other things they have to pay.
Plus all the dresses are made in house and that’s not cheap regardless of what it looks like in the end.
Sorry, ended up ranting a bit there. xD I understand the not liking it, I complain about the wigs all the time, it’s just the saying Disney makes a lot of money that I don’t.
Anyways, carry on :)
ugh…tell me about it. Why are they putting something dedicated to aliens in an ANIMAL park anyways?
WHAT?
Sad, but (disgustingly) true: http://d23.disney.go.com/news/2011/09/disney-fox-and-james-cameron-to-bring-avatar-to-life-at-disney-parks/
I am so disappointed in Disney for this.
You have no idea how much I hate Avatar and now it’s infesting my favorite place in the world. Though I don’t Marvel really belongs in Disney culture, the decision to sell Marvel merchandise and create Stark Expo was smart. Disney has difficulties appealing to boys sometimes but with Marvel the boy audience will produce more profit. Avatar, on the other hand, is unnecessary.
I think a Marvel area would have been more accepted (or better yet, Star Wars) One, because it has a large fan base who would travel to see it and Two, it’s Marvel and it’s cool. Yea, okay, I couldn’t come up with another reason.
But I think, even though Disney owns Marvel, it was apart of the contract that there weren’t allowed to build any attractions in Florida involving the characters because of Universal Studios having them in Island’s of Adventure.

This is one of my favorite confessions I’ve gotten so far. It’s just so hilarious and unexpected
